Power in Prose was created to emphasize the authentic spark that happens on the inside once connected to the highest source of power externally, our faith in Christ.

Power in Prose launched as a podcast in 2019. Since, it has developed into a community for women of faith to explore what it means to be themselves through the identity they have in God.

Meet The Creator

Destanee is a speaker, poet and multi hyphenate creative.

After she performed her poetry on stage for the first time, invigorated and inspired by the authority and power she exuded while owning her truth, Power in Prose the podcast was formed. She uses her writing practice to explore faith, vulnerability and self awareness.

Destanee currently lives in New York and works as a freelancer in the social media space. Through her workshops, speaking engagements and social channels she connects with creators of faith, identifies with their pain and provides insights of hope toward their future. Her ambition is to empower others to stand tall in the authority they are afforded in Christ.
